Summertime - time to play not pack?

It’s Summer Time- and how does that fair against home sales in spring and early fall?  Property on the market in summer risk missing some potential buyers, how so? August typically is one of the slowest summer months in real estate, much to do with families on vacations, then preparing for the start of school. Most families want to settle into their dwelling long before schools start. We prepare our sellers that marketing their property in the summer months can be challenging, especially if their children are home. 

As buyers like the opportunity to spend time in the home alone and not feel they are hurried. We let sellers know they need to pay extra attention to the exterior of their property, as buyers tend to pay much more attention to the outdoor areas.  Even in this fast pace market it is very important to have your home look its very best inside and outside.
